It shouldn't come as any surprise that we're fans of Cook's Illustrated. Their periodical, website and cook books are all fantastic sources of tasty dishes, reliable equipment reviews and helpful step by step directions for hard to understand techniques.
This Seattle based company takes standard gadgets and improves them to be both more useful and more comfortable. I'm a huge fan of their products, and hope that they're as widely available and appreciated in other cities as they are here in Seattle.
